'Chennai Express' song: Watch Shahrukh and Deepika’s romance in ‘Titli’

Bollywood superstars Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone get romantic in the new Chennai Express song ‘Titli’. The song’s a mellow, lilting track.

It’s the time of festivities. Deepika Padukone as Meenalochani offers her prayers in a temple and makes votive offerings to the deity. Shahrukh Khan as Rahul gently joins in, much to her suppressed joy.


The song ‘Titli’ highlights the small moments and gestures that bring two people close. It’s a colourful video with multi-hued flowers and Kathakali dancers against a verdant backdrop of hills.

Shahrukh Khan is seen in various get-ups, from his standard shirt-jeans to kurta-veshti. So is true of Deepika Padukone as well. She’s seen in a variety of sarees. Deepika also gets to do the traditional dance Bharatnatyam in the song.

‘Titli’ is sung by Chinmayi Sripaada and Gopi Sunder. The film’s music is by Vishal and Shekhar and lyrics are by Amitabh Bhattacharya. The Tamil lyrics are by Charulatha Mani and Madhumitha Mani.

Chennai Express is directed by Rohit Shetty. The film hits theatres on August 8.
